A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or th the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 29 July 2011 shall be eligible for appearing in the CTET Exam 2019. The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

CBSE CTET July 2019 Exam Fees

Application Fee For Single Subject:

  • Gen/OBC: Rs 700/-
  • SC/ST/PH: Rs 350/-

Application Fee For Both Paper:

  • Gen/OBC : 1200/-
  • SC/ST/PH: 600/-
  • Pay The Examination fees Through debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking Or E-Challan of Syndicate Bank and Canara Bank

CBSE CTET July 2019 Eligibility

CTET Primary Level Eligibility 2019 (Class I To V):-
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*..
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).The person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher.

CTET Junior Level Eligibility (VI to VIII):-
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).The person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher .

CBSE CTET July Exam 2019 apply steps

STEP1: Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.

STEP2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

STEP3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

STEP4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature.

STEP5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card.

STEP6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

CBSE CTET 2019 Uploading Documents Instructions

  • Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).

(i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
