In Delhi University Admission, UG Courses admission are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board) or entrance-based (that is, based on written/practical tests depending on the course selected by an aspiring student).

Now, after the completion of the admission application process, DU First Cut Off Merit List 2019 of graduation courses for the science, arts and commerce stream is out now. Delhi University First Cut Off Merit List 2019 has released now on 27 June 2019.
i. Delhi University Admission 2019 on Merit Based. (for UG Courses)
ii. DU Admission 2019 on Entrance Based.(for UG Courses)
Online application of Delhi University Admission was started from the 31 May 2019.And last date of Delhi University Admission 2019 is 14 June 2019.So now DU Admission 1st Cut off 2019 for UG Courses has released by Delhi University. DU Admission Criteria 2019
i. For DU Admission applicant must be a citizen of India. (Applicants seeking admission under Foreign Students’ category to apply separately on Foreign Students‘ Registry website, http://fsr.du.ac.in.)
ii. Applicants must passed the Class XII examination of any Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
iii. The applicant should have "passed" individually in each subject required (including practicals if any) for calculating Delhi Univerisity Admission merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in. Applicants with “compartment” results are not eligible to apply.
iv. For Delhi University Admission Form , Applicants of under the UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories are eligible to seek admission based on both merit and entrance tests to courses (Except Minority Colleges).
v. Applicants from the Sikh and Christian minorities may also seek admission under the minority quota in the Minority Colleges of the University.

The marks entered by the applicant will serve as the basis for computing the total marks for course specific combinations of "Best Four" for admission in courses through the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Social Sciences, Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, and "Three Subjects" for admission in courses under faculties of Sciences and Applied Sciences.

DU Admission Form 2019 (Entrance Based Courses)
Admission to Delhi university undergraduate courses based on entrance tests (wherein admissions will be made based on marks scored in the entrance test and qualifying class XII examination) are offered by the University of Delhi.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the conduct of DU Admission Entrance Exam to Entrance based Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses.

DU Admission Entrance Test Pattern
i. Selection/ Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the written entrance test.
ii. The written entrance test, of two hours duration, will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs).
iii. There will be 100 questions. Each correct answer will get a score of plus 4 marks, each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and a question not answered will get a score of zero marks.
iv. For admission to Music courses, the entrance test will be of a practical nature
